Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10 Years with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a monumental update from Warner Bros. International and NetherRealm Studios, set to launch on March 25th. This update brings a host of new features, including new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards.

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The star of the update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes equipped with an array of abilities such as power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To add him to your roster, you'll need to engage in Realm Klash challenges or purchase the Kombat Pass.

Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. She brings unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies. You can obtain her through the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the regular Kombat Pass.

Faction Wars is undergoing a significant transformation and is now known as Realm Klash. Players can now select from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond just fighting for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now come with new Kameo offers and MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual overhaul, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for previously known exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme challenge, running as a limited-time event for two weeks with only 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras receiving their own Brutality equipment sets.

A Fusion Boost modifier has been introduced, which powers up the lowest fused card in your team to balance gameplay. In addition to the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are returning.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days. Moreover, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
