Locate Mutt, Your Loyal Canine Companion, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Mutt, Henry's faithful dog in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, disappears early in the game. This guide provides a straightforward method to reunite with your furry friend.
Mutt's Location:
Mutt can be found near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp and east of the river's bathing spot. The image below pinpoints his location.

Fast travel to the Nomads' Camp for the easiest route. Follow the path southwest into the woods; you'll likely reach the cave's summit. You'll hear Mutt's whimpers as you approach. Following the sound will lead you to Mutt and a pack of wolves near the cave entrance.

A cutscene will initiate, introducing Mutt and the wolves, and providing a tutorial on commanding Mutt in combat. You can either fight or flee. While the wolves aren't overly challenging, engaging them offers a chance to gain experience.
After dealing with the wolves, Mutt will become your companion. Hold L1 (while facing him) to interact, feed him, or send him home.
Finding Mutt During the "Invaders" Side Quest:
Interestingly, you might discover the wolf cave during the "Invaders" side quest, particularly if you interact with the Cumans. Following Vasko while intoxicated will lead you directly to the cave, triggering the encounter with Mutt and the wolves. However, attempting this while drunk and in the dark is significantly more difficult.
It's strongly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest. Navigating the wolves while drunk and in the dark is extremely challenging, with a high risk of accidental death.
