If you're a fan of Neko games, particularly the Nekopara series, then you're in for a treat. Good Smile Company and Neko Works have announced an exciting new addition to the franchise: Nekopara Sekai Connect. Set to launch in spring 2026, the game will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. It will debut in Japanese, with English and Simplified Chinese versions following shortly after. This release is perfectly timed to coincide with the series' 10th anniversary, making it a special milestone for fans.
What Else Do We Know About Nekopara Sekai Connect?
Good Smile Company has released a trailer offering a glimpse into what players can expect from Nekopara Sekai Connect. You can watch the trailer here to get a better feel of the game. Additionally, they've set up an official website where you can find all the latest details about the game.
Sekai Connect continues the tradition of being a romance visual novel, but creator Sayori is introducing some fresh elements. One significant change is the inclusion of catgirls from around the world, adding diversity to the game's universe. The game will feature five different schools, each hosting unique catgirls:
- Sakuragaoka Neko Gakuen, home to Yuzuha
- Kinka Neko Science Academy, where you'll find Quince
- Gertrude Neko Gakuin, featuring Sable and Canelé
- Bastet Neko Graduate School, introducing Palmyra
- Nekos Youth Academy, with Donut
That's the latest on Nekopara Sekai Connect. It's worth noting that the previously announced game, Nekoparaiten! by Yostar, has been shelved. However, the catgirls originally planned for that game will now make their appearance in Sekai Connect. Yostar will collaborate with Good Smile Company and Neko Works to promote the new game, ensuring it reaches a wide audience.
