Pre-register for Neon Spellstorm Roguelite

Neon Spellstorm is an upcoming roguelite bullet-heaven action game from TopCog, and pre-registration is now open. Centered, like the studio's other major titles, on magical combat, it builds upon the legacy of the Tap Wizard series and WizUp.

Sprint across a neon path

You dash down a vibrant neon pathway that disintegrates in your wake, unleashing spells in all directions. Step into the role of a wizard within a gritty, low-tech cyberpunk universe, rendered in pixel art and glitch aesthetics.

The game features 28 distinct spells to experiment with. Master effects like echo, havoc, behemoth, and aftershock, chaining them together for amplified power. With 74 unique trinkets at your disposal, you can craft wildly powerful and unexpected character builds.

Each run is unique, as the spells and trinkets you discover are never guaranteed. This randomness ensures fresh and thrilling gameplay every time. As you progress, collect Orbs, Stars, Gems, and Neon currency to spend at the Neon Core, unlocking permanent upgrades and new magical abilities.

Neon Spellstorm employs a 2.5D mixed-media visual style, blending 2D sprites with low-poly 3D models for a distinctive hybrid look. Get a preview of the action in the trailer below.

Customize your wizard before each attempt. Choose from six different characters and select starting spells, fates, archetypes, and sigils to align with your strategic approach. Once the run begins, you chart your own path across the dynamic map.

Pre-Registration for Neon Spellstorm Is Now Open on Android

Pre-registration is available on the Google Play Store. Upon release, a free demo will be offered, with a single in-app purchase required to unlock the complete game. The current target launch date for mobile is August 11th, 2025.

The developers cite several acclaimed titles as inspirations for the game's style and mechanics, including Hades, Bastion, Risk of Rain 2, Slay the Spire, and TopCog's own Tap Wizard 2. It certainly has the potential to live up to its promising previews.
