NetEase Announces the EOS of Dead by Daylight Mobile

NetEase officially announced the end-of-service (EOS) date for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will be discontinued. Don't worry, the PC and console versions remain unaffected.

For those unfamiliar, Dead by Daylight Mobile is a thrilling 4v1 survival horror game, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title. Initially launched on PC in June 2016, the mobile version arrived in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile pits Killers against Survivors in a terrifying game of cat and mouse. Players can choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or fight for survival as a Survivor trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The game's official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025, meaning new downloads will no longer be possible after that date. Existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the final shutdown on March 20th.

NetEase will process refunds according to regional regulations. Further details regarding the refund process will be released on January 16th, 2025.

Players wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those who make the switch. Loyalty rewards will also be given to players based on their in-game spending and XP earned on the mobile platform.

In short, if you haven't experienced Dead by Daylight Mobile, now's your chance! Download it from the Google Play Store before January 16th, 2025. We also recommend checking out our article on the new dungeon-building game, Tormentis Dungeon RPG, available on Android.
