Surprisingly, the most popular competitive character, Mantis, also suffered the most defeats. She dominated on both PC and consoles, surpassing Hela, Loki, and Magic. Consoles saw a broader success, with 14 additional characters boasting win rates exceeding 50%.
Conversely, unpopular characters emerged. Storm, Black Widow, and Wolverine lagged in "quick play," while Nemore occupied that position in competitive modes.
Marvel Rivals is currently facing controversy after receiving over 500 mods in a single month. The removal of Nexus Mods modifications replacing Captain America's head with Donald Trump and Joe Biden images sparked significant user backlash.
Nexus Mods owner, TheDarkOne, explained in a private Reddit discussion that both Trump and Biden-related mods were removed simultaneously to avoid accusations of bias. This action, however, has curiously remained unaddressed by YouTube gaming commentators.
