Nintendo Highlights Upcoming Releases In Report
Nintendo Direct In April
Nintendo has confirmed several first-party titles set to launch in 2025 through their recent financial report. Two eagerly awaited games are scheduled for the first quarter: Donkey Kong Country Returns HD on January 16th, and Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on March 20th. Additionally, Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond are slated for release this year, though specific dates are yet to be announced.
While no additional projects have been revealed, fans can look forward to the Nintendo Direct on April 2nd, 2025. The exact broadcast time will be announced later via Nintendo’s official channels. Although the event is expected to focus on the Nintendo Switch 2, enthusiasts are eager for more exclusive titles to be showcased.
Nintendo Switch 2 Experience Ahead Of Launch
The much-anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch later in 2025. According to the financial report, live in-person Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events will kick off in April across 15 global locations, including New York, Tokyo, and Amsterdam. While most locations have closed their registration, a waitlist is available for those still hoping to attend. For the Japan leg of the tour, ticket applications are open until February 20th JST.

Super Nintendo World Expands To Orlando, Florida
Nintendo is broadening its horizons with the opening of a new Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando Resort’s Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, set for May 22nd, 2025. This marks the second Super Nintendo World in the United States, following its debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in February 2023. Visitors can expect to immerse themselves in the vibrant worlds of Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.
Furthermore, plans are underway for a Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Singapore, with a projected opening in 2025, though specific details remain forthcoming.
