Solo Leveling: Arise recently concluded its inaugural global tournament, the SLC 2025, on April 12th at Ivex Studio in Korea. This exciting event featured the high-octane Battlefield of Time mode and drew top players from around the globe, including participants from Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. The competition was fierce, with tickets selling out in less than a minute and thousands more watching the live stream.
The tournament culminated with sixteen finalists, evenly split between the International and Asia Leagues. After several intense rounds, the competition narrowed down to four top players. Ultimately, OhReung emerged victorious, conquering four battlefields in an impressive time of just 2 minutes and 57 seconds. This stellar performance crowned him the first official global champion of Solo Leveling: Arise.
As the champion, OhReung was awarded KRW 10 million and an LG gram Pro 360 laptop. The runner-up and third-place finishers also received substantial prizes: KRW 7 million and KRW 3 million respectively, along with LG UltraGear™ gaming monitors.
The event was not just about the competition; it also included live giveaways and redemption codes for fans, enhancing the community's engagement and celebrating their competitive spirit. This tournament marked a strong debut for Solo Leveling: Arise in the global esports scene, promising even more thrilling events in the future.
OhReung shared his thoughts on the victory, stating, "I’m deeply honored to share this shining moment of becoming a world champion with everyone. As a gesture of support, I will be donating half of my prize money to aid those affected by the recent wildfires in Korea."
