Path of Exile 2's Hidden Golden Idols: A Guide to Finding and Selling Them

Path of Exile 2 features numerous quests, some less obvious than others. Act 3 introduces Golden Idols, unique quest items not automatically logged. Unlike typical quest items, these aren't traded with NPCs for quest progression but instead offer a substantial gold reward. There are five in total.

Locating the Golden Idols in Path of Exile 2

After exploring the Vaal ruins beneath the Ziggurat Encampment in Act 3, you'll be transported to Utzaal (The Drowned City in the present), a portal to the Vaal civilization's past glory. Don't get sidetracked by the city's splendor; focus on finding the idols.

These Golden Idols are located within Utzaal and the connected area, Aggorat. Three are found in Utzaal, and two in Aggorat. They're not random enemy drops but are found on the ground or pedestals, often in side rooms.

Selling Your Golden Idols

Once collected, return to the Ziggurat Encampment and sell them to Oswald, located in the north. He's the only vendor who accepts these items.

• Grand Idol: 1000 Gold
• Glorious Idol: 1500 Gold
• Elegant Idol: 1000 Gold
• Exceptional Idol: 1500 Gold

Collecting all five yields 6000 gold. Due to their limited inventory space, it's advisable to sell them immediately after finding them to free up space.
