Players Can Sign Up for Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test Tomorrow

Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test: Sign-ups Begin January 10th

The highly anticipated Elden Ring Nightreign network test opens for registration on January 10th, 2025. This initial beta, however, will be exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Announced at The Game Awards 2024, Elden Ring Nightreign is a cooperative Soulsborne experience set in the Lands Between, designed for three-player parties. Targeted for a 2025 release, the game will undergo at least one network test before launch.

Limited Platform Availability:

While the game will also release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, this first network test will only encompass the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. FromSoftware has confirmed no cross-platform multiplayer, meaning players will be limited to those on their respective console. Progress made during the beta is not expected to transfer to the final game. Additional betas are possible, but unconfirmed.

Party Size Restrictions:

Further limiting online play, Elden Ring Nightreign will only support solo or three-player parties; two-player parties are not supported. Whether the network test will feature additional restrictions remains to be seen.

How to Register for the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test:

  1. Visit the official Elden Ring Nightreign network test website starting January 10th.
  2. Register, specifying your preferred platform (PS5 or Xbox Series X/S).
  3. Await a confirmation email (arriving no later than February 2025).
  4. Participate in the test during February 2025 (exact dates to be announced).

The test will have a limited number of participants, with the exact number yet to be disclosed. Confirmation emails will be sent out by February 2025, coinciding with the test period. Specific test dates will be revealed in the coming weeks.
