Get ready, Pokémon trainers! The Pokémon Company is hosting a Pokémon Presents event next week to celebrate Pokémon Day. The event will stream live on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on February 27th, 2025, at 6 AM Pacific Time (9 AM Eastern Time, 2 PM UK time).
While the exact content remains a mystery, fans eagerly anticipate news about the next mainline Pokémon game, currently shrouded in secrecy. Although a spin-off, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, is slated for release in 2025, the next core generation entry remains unannounced.
The Pokémon Presents event will likely feature updates on various ongoing Pokémon titles, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon Masters EX. We can also expect news regarding the recently launched Pokémon TCG Pocket and the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game.
Last year's Pokémon Presents, held around the same time, unveiled Pokémon Legends: Z-A, announced Tera Raid Battles for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and revealed the mobile adaptation of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. Interestingly, 2024 marked a departure from previous years with only one Pokémon Presents event and the first absence of a major Pokémon game release since 2015.
