Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! March 2025's Community Day extravaganza kicks off with the fiery Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon. This guide covers the event details, upcoming Community Day dates, and the exciting Timed Research rewards for the Beloved Buddies event.
Pokémon GO has announced Fuecoco as the star of the first March Community Day event, taking place on March 8th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time). Prepare for increased Fuecoco spawns and boosted Shiny rates!
Evolving your Fuecoco to Skeledirge (via Crocalor) unlocks the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn, but only within one week of the event. Skeledirge can also learn Torch Song, with no time limit.
A Special Research Timed Research event offers a Fuecoco encounter with a Seasonal Special Background. Completing the tasks further boosts your chances of finding a Shiny Fuecoco! This Timed Research runs until March 15th, 2025, at 10:00 PM (local time).
For an extra boost, a $2.00 Community Day Special Research ticket provides three Fuecoco encounters (all with Seasonal Special Backgrounds), along with Battle Passes and Rare Candies. This ticket is also giftable to Great Friends or better.
Beyond Fuecoco, Pokémon GO has revealed the dates for Community Day events through May:
Community Day Classic events bring back beloved Pokémon from past Community Days, like Ralts (featured in August 2019 and January 2025). The other dates feature new Pokémon—stay tuned for announcements!
The Beloved Buddies event, featuring Dhelmise, includes Timed Research with two branching paths: one with Candela (Team Valor), and another with Arlo (Team GO Rocket).
Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls, Remoraid, and Mantine encounters. Afterward, choose your path:
Candela's Path: Rewards include Poffins, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.
Arlo's Path: Rewards are similar, adding a Pocket Radar, with encounters featuring Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.
Choose wisely, based on your favorite character and desired Pokémon! Learn more in our dedicated Beloved Buddies event article!
