Project NET, a thrilling third-person shooter spinoff of the popular Girls’ Frontline franchise, has officially opened pre-registration and a limited Shock Point Test! Read on to learn how to participate and discover more about this exciting new title.

Project NET: Pre-Registration is LIVE!

The highly anticipated mobile shooter, Project NET, launched its pre-registration on March 3rd, 2025, as announced via the official Southeast Asian (SEA) Twitter (now X) account.

Ready to join the action? Simply visit the official Project NET SEA website and click the "Pre-Register" button. You'll then need to provide your email address and select your preferred platform (iOS or Android). Pre-registration is also open on the official Russian (RU) website.

SEA Shock Point Test: Philippines Only (For Now!)

Alongside pre-registration, Project NET announced a limited beta test, the "Shock Point Test," opening on March 4th, 2025. This test is currently exclusive to players in the Philippines and will be conducted on Android devices. Access is limited, the test is non-monetized, and all data will be wiped after completion. A similar Shock Point Test will also be held in Russia; details are available on the RU website. The developers are actively optimizing the game for a global launch in the future.

Here's the official schedule for SEA Shock Point Test Recruitment Registration:

Following completion of the recruitment questionnaire, successful applicants will receive confirmation emails between March 24th and 26th, 2025. Further qualifications will be distributed throughout the testing period, the dates of which are yet to be announced.

Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Successor?

Project NET, a GFL2 Third Person Shooter Spinoff, Opens Pre-Registrations

Initially announced on December 27th, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized SEA test from January 9th to 16th, 2025, encompassing Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Building upon the legacy of the immensely popular Girls’ Frontline (launched in 2016), which has since expanded into an anime series and other games, and following the recent release of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium on December 5th, 2024, Project NET promises to deliver familiar characters and aesthetics within its exciting new third-person shooter format.

While a release date remains unannounced, Project NET is currently slated for release on iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial test.
