Many dungeons in Metaphor: ReFantazio feature formidable mini-bosses before the final encounter. Even while grinding for XP, these enemies, often red in Fairy Sight, demand squad combat. The Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example; defeating it requires strategy and a bit of luck.

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 foes, making it inadvisable to engage below level 45. The Faithwight Magileto wields potent dark and light magic, both single-target and area-of-effect (including the devastating Megidolaon). Passive buffs amplify the damage of these elements. Furthermore, it uses Soul Scream for extra Press Turn icons and summons level 50 skeletons.
These summoned skeletons boast strong slashing attacks, dark magic, potent buffs, and access to high-level healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness to Strike attacks highlights the crucial strategy for this fight.
How To Beat Faithwight Magileto In Metaphor: ReFantazio
Even at level 50, this fight is extremely challenging; below that level, it's nearly impossible. Preparation is key:
- Acquire Dark Dodge (Magic Knight).
- Acquire Light Dodge (Healer Archetype).
- Skill Inherit Strike skills (Brawler Archetype).
- Utilize the Warlock Archetype's Dark and Light resistance.
- Leverage the Thief Archetype's Dark resistance.
- Carry Tetrabreak to counter Tetrakarn.
Archetype selection is flexible, prioritizing resistance to Dark, Light, and Slashing attacks. With multiple Archetypes unlocked, focus on Strength-based ones using Skill Inheritance. Ensure at least two party members possess party-wide healing, and equip everyone with Strike attacks to maximize Press Turn Icons and facilitate healing.
Expect some luck; consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Equipping Dark and Light Dodge on most party members helps mitigate damage. Prioritize eliminating summoned allies before their healing spells take effect. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs. The core strategy involves at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide healing spells per turn.
