ReFantazio: Unveiling the Metaphorical Journey of Party Membership

Metaphor: ReFantazio boasts eight playable characters, including the protagonist. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat role is limited initially. The remaining seven join at specific points throughout the story. Note: The following details may reveal minor plot points.

Character Join Dates in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Each party member unlocks a unique Archetype, usable by any party member after its unlock. Early members may be initially AI-controlled before gaining full control.

  • Storhl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (6/5) during the Border Fort events, but his Archetype awakens the following day, June 6th (6/6), in the Nord Mines. Until then, he's AI-controlled.

  • Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes fully playable on June 6th (6/6) after Storhl's Archetype awakens. Grius doesn't undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

  • Hulkenberg (Knight): Interacts with the party from June 10th (6/10), but fully joins and awakens her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th (6/11).

  • Heismay (Thief): His awakening and party integration occur on July 4th (7/4) within Martira's main dungeon.

  • Junah (Masked Dancer): Joins the party after her Archetype awakens on August 13th (8/13).

  • Eupha (Summoner): Eupha's join date is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon between August 19th (8/19) and September 4th (9/4) during Viraga Island's free time period will add her to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest begins after this deadline.

  • Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins on September 11th (9/11) during Saint's Day events, but becomes fully usable the following day.

This guide provides a clear timeline for party member recruitment in Metaphor: ReFantazio, helping players anticipate new allies and strategic options.
