Maintaining your footwear is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide outlines how to acquire and repair shoes, ensuring you're always ready for adventure.
Acquiring Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacement options abound. Loot chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) often yield footwear. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior quality options. Locate cobblers using their map icon (three red circles); one is conveniently found in Trosky. Note that cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew, may also sell horse gear and crafting kits.

Shoe Repair:
Repairing shoes involves two methods. First, utilize cobblers or blacksmiths. Select the repair option during dialogue, choose your items, and pay the associated cost (costs are affected by your Craftsmanship skill perks).
Second, self-repair using a Cobbler's Kit. This requires sufficient Craftsmanship skill. Kits are purchased from various vendors (cobblers, blacksmiths) or found through looting and chests. Access the kit in your inventory ("E" on PC), select damaged items (faded items indicate insufficient skill), and repair them.

Remember, Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for other equipment repairs. While vendor repairs are convenient, self-repair offers a cost-effective alternative if your skill level allows. Keeping your gear in top condition is vital for a successful journey.
