Developer Blast Zero and publisher Red Dunes Games are commemorating the 35th anniversary of the beloved anime series, Samurai Pizza Cats, with a brand-new video game. Titled Samurai Pizza Cats: Blast From the Past, this 2D action-RPG is currently in development for all major platforms.
The announcement trailer showcases the return of several original English voice actors, including Rick Jones as Cerviche, Sonja Ball as Polly Esther, Terrence Scammell as Guido Anchovy and the Narrator, and Dean Hagopian reprising his role as Seymour “The Big” Cheese.
Gameplay will allow players to seamlessly switch between the Samurai Pizza Cats, leveraging each character's unique skills to overcome combat challenges and solve environmental puzzles within the vibrant setting of Little Tokyo.
