Fans of the iconic mecha series, Gundam, have reason to celebrate as the much-anticipated SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is far from dead. Despite the silence since 2022, the latest entry in the beloved strategy JRPG franchise is gearing up for an exciting network test. This test is not only open to participants from Japan, Korea, and Hong Kong but also extends to the United States, marking a significant expansion for the series. With 1500 spots up for grabs, applications are now open and will close on December 7th. Successful applicants will have the chance to dive into the game from January 23rd to January 28th, 2025.

In SD Gundam G Generation Eternal, players step into the shoes of various pilots from the Gundam universe, engaging in grid-based strategic battles. The series is renowned for its extensive roster, featuring an impressive array of mecha and characters from across the franchise, offering fans a comprehensive Gundam experience.

While the Gundam franchise enjoys global recognition, the SD Gundam line, which stands for "super deformed," might be less familiar to some. These smaller, stylized kits allow fans to assemble adorable, compact versions of their favorite mecha. At their peak, these kits were so popular that they even outshone the original models.

SD Gundam G Generation Eternal Network Test Announcement

The excitement for SD Gundam G Generation Eternal is palpable among fans, especially with its upcoming availability in the US. However, there's always a note of caution among the community due to the inconsistent quality and premature cancellations that have sometimes plagued Bandai Namco's Gundam games. Here's hoping that SD Gundam G Generation Eternal will stand out as a stellar addition to the series.
