The new year has brought a wave of excitement for *Pokemon GO* trainers with the introduction of new Pokemon to catch. Following the addition of Fidough, players are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Shroodle in *Pokemon GO*. However, like many recent additions, obtaining Shroodle won't be as simple as encountering it in the wild.

When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?

The Toxic Mouse Pokemon, Shroodle, made its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a fresh face in the Pokemon universe. After its initial event, Shroodle will remain available for players to collect.

Can Shroodle Be Shiny?

At its release, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers can look forward to its Shiny form being added in a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-type Pokemon or Team GO Rocket.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

Unlike traditional wild spawns, Shroodle can only be obtained by hatching it from 12KM eggs. Starting from 12 AM local time on January 15, 12KM eggs have a chance to hatch into Shroodle. The odds of hatching Shroodle may increase during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but it will remain part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.

How To Get 12K Eggs

Since Shroodle is exclusively available through 12KM eggs, it's important to know how to obtain these rare eggs in *Pokemon GO*. The only way to get a 12KM egg is by defeating one of the Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Taken Over event is an ideal time to gather these eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars will be easier to obtain. However, you can challenge GO Rocket Grunts to face Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff at any time to earn a 12KM egg, provided you have space in your inventory.

How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also debuted on January 15, 2025. Grafaiai does not hatch from eggs or appear in the wild; the only way to obtain it is by evolving a Shroodle. Evolving Shroodle into Grafaiai requires 50 Shroodle Candies, which means you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set it as your buddy to gather the necessary candies.
