At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs, offering a first glimpse into the next Battlefield game. Want to shape the future of the franchise and get early access to Battlefield 6? Here's how to join Battlefield Labs.
What is Battlefield Labs?

Battlefield Labs is EA's initiative to gather crucial feedback for the next Battlefield title. This program invites select players into the "war room," offering early access to remote playtests and the opportunity to directly influence development at EA's Battlefield Studios.
Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will be chosen, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?
Unlike previous Battlefield betas, Battlefield Labs offers a unique experience. The content will be work-in-progress, meaning you'll encounter more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than a typical beta.
EA seeks feedback on core gameplay elements like combat loops, map flow, and balance. However, participation requires signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), prohibiting public sharing of information.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early Access
Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and sign up. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred platform, and then sign in. Be aware that you might encounter a queue; if so, keep an eye on the tab, as you'll have only 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives.
Once you're in, fill out the required information and register your email address. Check your inbox regularly for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if you're selected.
EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in fiscal year 2026, meaning we can expect Battlefield 6 before April 1, 2026.
