The Sims Marks 25 Years with 25 Free Gifts

The Sims is turning 25, and Electronic Arts is pulling out all the stops to celebrate this iconic game's milestone. From its humble beginnings as a SimCity spin-off to the beloved storytelling phenomenon it is today, The Sims has touched the lives of countless players around the world.

What’s The Sims Planning for Its 25th Birthday?

To mark its 25th anniversary, The Sims is rolling out a spectacular 25 days of gifts. That's right, 25 free gifts spread over 25 days, but you'll need to log in daily to claim them as each gift is available for just one day. This celebration will run through the end of February 2025, and EA is bringing a massive birthday bash across the entire Sims franchise. Expect updates, rereleases, special events, and fresh content to immerse yourself in.

The Sims Mobile isn't missing out on the fun either. Log in during its birthday week, starting March 4th, and you'll receive two free gifts. Plus, EA has collaborated with Spotify to curate the ultimate Sims playlist, featuring the biggest hits from across the Sims games.

It’s a Blast from the Past!

The Sims FreePlay is taking you on a nostalgic trip back to the 2000s. To celebrate 25 years of The Sims, FreePlay is introducing content that will transport you to an era of chunky flip phones, frosted tips, and velour tracksuits. Get ready for two new live events: "The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island," both of which are a delightful blast from the past. The Social Town update also brings new homes, a helicopter, and a museum filled with FreePlay history for you to explore.

Don't miss out on the action—head over to the Google Play Store to check out what's happening in The Sims Mobile and FreePlay.
