During Shift Up's IPO press conference on June 25th, CFO Ahn Jae-woo indicated the company is exploring a PC version of Stellar Blade, viewing it as a significant opportunity for further monetization. Ahn noted this consideration is informed by the current PS5 market distribution and the growing shift of AAA game players towards PC platforms.

Shift Up CEO Kim Hyung-Tae corroborated this, confirming the PC version is under review but declined to comment on a release timeline due to contractual obligations. This aligns with the company's public filing, which mentions both a PC release and a potential sequel for the successful title.

Kim also emphasized the company's goal in developing Stellar Blade: to create a high-value IP that fosters a global fanbase. He highlighted their deliberate avoidance of potentially damaging microtransactions and their intention to communicate these decisions transparently to players.

Exciting Updates and Collaborations on the Horizon!

Beyond the PC possibility, Stellar Blade's future is bright with a revealed roadmap of updates and DLC. Expect a Photo Mode in August, new costumes in October, and a major collaboration later this year.

Regarding the recent collaboration with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Kim stated that Shift Up is exploring various opportunities for positive synergy between the IPs and anticipates sharing positive results soon.
