In the game, potch serves as the currency. The Fortune Orb doubles the experience points gained by the holder, while the Prosperity Orb doubles the potch earned from battles. It's worth noting that in the first Suikoden game, the main character cannot equip both orbs simultaneously.
Originally launched in Japan in 1995 for the PlayStation, followed by its sequel in 1998, the Suikoden series gained Western audiences a year later. Each installment challenges players to recruit 108 warriors to build an army and combat the forces of evil.
