The ID@Xbox Showcase unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault, confirming its launch day arrival on Xbox Game Pass. Expected before year's end, this isometric action-adventure RPG, developed by Digital Sun and published by 11 bit studios, blends roguelike elements with shop-keeping. Players upgrade their shop by venturing into dungeons, battling creatures, and collecting rare artifacts.
Moonlighter 2 expands upon its predecessor, boasting a richer narrative and refined gameplay. Protagonist Will journeys through the vast world of Trense, searching for his home dimension. He reunites with familiar faces, forges new alliances, and encounters a mysterious trader who offers a quest involving powerful relics—the key to his return.
The game's soundtrack is composed by Chris Larkin, celebrated for his work on Hollow Knight. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is slated for release later this year on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
