Cassette Beasts Finally Arrives on Android!
After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial release on PC two years ago.
For those unfamiliar, Cassette Beasts is a unique RPG centered around the nostalgic concept of cassette tapes. The game throws you onto the strange island of New Wirral, a place where monsters roam freely and people transform into creatures using cassette players.
Gameplay:
Your objective is to escape New Wirral. You accomplish this by using your cassette player to record and then transform into monsters. Building relationships with the inhabitants of Harbourtown allows you to fuse monster forms, creating powerful and diverse hybrid creatures. The possibilities are virtually endless, as any two monsters can be combined.
Exploration and Combat:
New Wirral offers a vast world to explore, filled with challenging dungeons, intricate puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. You'll need to utilize a range of skills, from gliding and swimming to climbing and even magnetism, to uncover all the island's secrets.
Combat is turn-based and incorporates an elemental system. Strategic combination of elemental types can significantly impact battles, allowing you to manipulate enemies, enhance your team, or even alter an opponent's elemental type during combat.
Controller Support:
The game supports Bluetooth controllers, though some minor compatibility issues may be encountered.
Cassette Beasts is available now for free on the Google Play Store. Give it a try and experience this unique blend of monster collecting, transformation, and strategic combat!
