How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?
The Terminator event in *Black Ops 6* and *Warzone* follows a similar structure to the Archie’s Festival Frenzy event from the Holiday Season. Instead of being based on XP or challenges, this event revolves around collecting a new currency called Skulls, inspired by the T-800’s iconic skeletal frame. Skulls can be obtained from eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies, or by opening caches in Warzone. To collect a Skull, players must walk over it to add it to their total, which can be tracked in the pause menu or The Terminator event tab.
Skulls don’t drop from every elimination or cache opening; their appearance seems somewhat random. Players should stay alert for a floating Skull near the ground after each action and listen for specific audio cues signaling when Skulls spawn and are picked up.
How To Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty
Given the randomness of Skull drops, the key to progressing quickly is to maximize your chances by increasing the number of eliminations or cache openings. Here are the best methods for each major mode in *Call of Duty*:
- *Black Ops 6* Multiplayer: Play Kill Confirmed on small maps like Nuketown for faster action and more opportunities to collect Skulls.
- *Black Ops 6* Zombies: Farm zombie eliminations with the Rampage Inducer enabled, especially in the early rounds (before Round 6) at Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Using GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power can enhance your weapon to kill zombies faster, speeding up Skull collection.
- *Warzone*: Focus on opening as many chests as possible in Resurgence mode, particularly in Solo matches. However, the availability of unopened caches decreases as the match progresses, making early matches more fruitful.
Our testing showed that round-based Zombies with the Rampage Inducer on early rounds yield the highest Skull rate per minute, followed by early matches of Resurgence in *Warzone*. Be aware that Skull spawns can become inconsistent, and drop rates may slow after collecting around your 10th Skull in a match.
