Wuthering Waves' Version 2.0 update, launching January 2nd, 2025, introduces the vibrant nation of Rinascita, along with a host of new characters, gameplay mechanics, and features. This update also marks the game's debut on PlayStation 5.
Rinascita, the "Land of Echoes," is a festive archipelago of independent city-states, recently reconnected to Solaris-3 via sea routes after a period of isolation following "The Lament." The update's narrative kicks off with the Carnevale celebration in Ragunna.
The update showcases new exploration methods via unique Echoes: the Gondola, allowing waterway navigation, and the Wingray, enabling high-speed flight. Several exciting game modes are also added, including Flight Challenges and Dream Patrols, offering rewarding gameplay experiences.
