World of Warcraft Has Good News for Players Who Forgot to Spend Their Anniversary Event Currency

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token to 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch's release.

The 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, allowed players to acquire Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Excess tokens could be exchanged for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events. Blizzard confirmed these tokens will not be used again.

This automatic conversion prevents players from retaining unusable currency. While a release date for Patch 11.1 is unannounced, February 25th is a strong possibility, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule. This means the conversion will likely occur after the second Turbulent Timeways event concludes. Timewarped Badges can be used in various Timewalking events, with no rewards being removed permanently.

The automatic conversion ensures players don't lose out on the value of their leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens. The 1:20 conversion rate mirrors the in-event exchange rate. Players are advised to log in after Patch 11.1 launches to receive their Timewarped Badges. The conversion happens automatically upon the first login.
