World of Warcraft Has Good News For Players Who Missed an Important 20th Anniversary Event Achievement

World of Warcraft's Detective Title Remains Accessible: A Guide to Finding Alyx and the Missing Celebration Crates

World of Warcraft players can still earn the coveted Detective title and unlock the quest for the elusive Incognitro Felcycle mount, even after the 20th-anniversary event concluded. This is thanks to the relocation of Alyx, the key NPC, to Dornogal.

Alyx, a Lightforged Draenei, now resides in Dornogal, conveniently located between the Delver's Headquarters and the stairs leading to the Foundation Hall. They maintain their crucial board detailing clues to the whereabouts of 11 missing Celebration Crates. Finding these crates remains the pathway to the Detective title.

Obtaining the Detective Title:

  1. Locate Alyx: Travel to Dornogal and find Alyx near the Delver's Headquarters.
  2. Gather Clues: Examine Alyx's board for clues indicating the locations of the missing Celebration Crates. Note that players must be at least level 10 to begin Celebration Crate quests, but level 68 is required to access Dornogal.
  3. Collect the Crates: Use the clues to find and collect all 11 Celebration Crates scattered throughout the World of Warcraft.
  4. Claim Your Rewards: Return the crates to Alyx. Six crates reward the Crate Insurance Agent achievement, while all eleven unlock the No Crate Left Behind, Azeroth's Greatest Detective achievements, and most importantly, the Detective title. This title is the key to initiating the Incognitro mount questline.

While the main Guest Relations questline is no longer active, the persistence of Alyx and the Celebration Crate hunt ensures players can still obtain the Detective title and pursue the Incognitro mount indefinitely. Unfortunately, achievements tied to the now-inactive Guest Relations quests, such as Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations Manager and I Saved the Party and All I Got Were These Lousy Hats, are no longer attainable. The associated Thinking Cap transmog is also currently unobtainable. The future availability of these rewards remains uncertain.
