Digital Extremes has announced the Android pre-registration for Warframe, alongside a flurry of exciting news about the upcoming Warframe: 1999 expansion. This mobile release introduces a fresh audience to the popular action game, and the latest devstream revealed a wealth of details.
Key highlights include: an anime short for Warframe: 1999, produced in collaboration with The Line studio; continued development of the On-Lyne ARG; and significant additions to Warframe: 1999 itself.
These additions include a new Faceoff PvPvE mode, the return of voice actor Neil Newborn (Baldur's Gate 3), new romantic storylines within the Hex, and further information on the 59th Warframe, Cyte-09.
A Massive Expansion
Warframe's mobile debut, coupled with the 1999 expansion (acting as both a standalone experience and a prequel), promises a huge amount of content for both new and veteran players.
