Following a press tour that hilariously showcased Jack Quaid sporting increasingly worse injuries at a Clippers game, Novocaine has finally hit theaters. This R-rated action-comedy stars Quaid as a man who feels no pain—leading to the amusing speculation that the Boys veteran actively seeks out opportunities to be covered in fake blood.
IGN critic Lena Wilson praised the film in her review, stating, “Novocaine offers more depth than its gimmicky 'man who feels no pain' premise may lead you to believe," adding that it features "clever storytelling and character writing that reminds us of a time when seeing movies in theaters was just plain fun.”
