Whispers From The Star Closed Beta: Coming Soon!
Anuttacon's AI-Powered Sci-Fi Adventure Revealed
From the creators at Anuttacon, an indie game developer and publisher founded by HoYoverse CEO Cai Haoyu, comes *Whispers From The Star*, a narrative-driven sci-fi adventure unlike any other. This innovative title blends interactive storytelling with cutting-edge AI technology, as announced via a recent HoYoverse tweet (now X). A closed beta test is on the horizon!
In Whispers From The Star, you'll step into the shoes (or rather, the guiding hand) of Stella, a bright astrophysics student who crash-lands on the mysterious planet Gaia. Isolated and alone, Stella relies on her communicator to reach out for help—and that's where you come in. As her guide, you'll use text, voice, and video messages to help her navigate this alien world.

Gameplay centers around engaging in dynamic conversations with Stella. Rejecting traditional dialogue trees, the developers aim to create fluid, personal, and immersive interactions using AI-enhanced dialogue, as reported by Bleeding Cool News. This innovative approach promises a truly unique and personalized gaming experience.
The AI-driven interactions, while exciting for many, have also sparked discussions online, particularly on Reddit. Concerns regarding the emotional impact of AI relationships and the potential displacement of human actors have been raised, a topic particularly sensitive given the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
Despite these concerns, Anuttacon has announced a Closed Beta for Whispers From The Star, exclusively for select players in the United States. While a specific date and time haven't been revealed, interested players can register their interest on the developer's website to secure their spot. Please note: This beta is currently only available for iPhone 12 or later models. Support for Android devices and iPads is not yet available.
