LoL: Wild Rift's Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars is poised to launch later this month, promising a cosmic transformation across the board. From revamped menus to the battlefield itself, you'll find yourself navigating the enchanting Dual Nova galaxy, which includes the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.
This patch introduces three new champions, each bringing unique abilities to the game. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes powerful area of effect (AoE) damage and can strategically teleport teammates with his Realm Warp ability. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using his Paranoia to cloak the battlefield in darkness, leaving foes vulnerable. Lastly, Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing down enemies and reviving allies with Chronoshift, adding a strategic layer to your gameplay.
Several champions are receiving significant reworks. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, enhancing his durability, while his Judgment ability now shreds enemy armor more effectively. Ambessa transitions from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage output and life steal. Additionally, minor tweaks are on the way for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista, ensuring a fresh feel for these champions.

Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that materialize through portals during the laning phase. Mages are also in for a treat with updates to their items. The new Bandle Fantasy item boosts burst damage, while Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance amplifies ultimate abilities, making spellcasters more formidable than ever.
Ranked mode is set to evolve with the launch of the Challenger’s Star, marking the beginning of a new season. Expect updates to the Ranked store and a streamlined process for earning seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star will unlock, introducing AAAARAM, a thrilling twist on ARAM with galactic visuals and added augments. The Wild Pass will also feature two stunning new skins: Wondertown Twisted Fate and Battlecast Nasus, with Twisted Fate’s skin launching a brand-new skinline.
LoL: Wild Rift's Patch 6.1 will be available starting April 16th. For more details, make sure to check out the official website.
