Get Ready for Monster Hunter Wilds' Second Open Beta!
Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? Don't worry! A second chance to hunt arrives in early February, bringing new content and features. Here's how to join the action.
Hunt a New Beast!
Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced a second Open Beta Test phase on the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel, offering another opportunity to experience the game before its February 28th launch.
The beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th, available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This time, you can hunt the Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series!
Carry over your character data from the first beta (though progress won't transfer) and get rewarded for participating! Earn a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm and a special bonus item pack for the full game.
Tsujimoto explained the decision for a second beta, stating the team heard player feedback about missing the first or wanting a repeat experience. While the team is working on further improvements outlined in a previous community update, those changes won't be in this beta.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches February 28th, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get ready to hunt!
