Witcher Former Devs' Upcoming Dark Fantasy Action RPG To Be Published by Bandai NamcoThis collaboration, announced earlier this week, designates Bandai Namco as the global publisher for Dawnwalker, the inaugural title in Rebel Wolves' action RPG saga. Launching in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox, Dawnwalker is a mature, story-driven AAA experience set in a dark fantasy medieval Europe. Expect more information on Dawnwalker in the months ahead. Founded in 2022 in Warsaw, Poland, Rebel Wolves aims to elevate the RPG genre through compelling narratives.

Tomasz Tinc, Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, commented in the press release, "Rebel Wolves is a new studio built on a strong foundation: experience blended with fresh energy. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, renowned for its commitment to RPGs and its willingness to embrace new IPs, is the ideal partner for our team. We share the same values, and their track record speaks volumes. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with them to bring the first chapter of the Dawnwalker saga to players worldwide."

Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, Bandai Namco's VP of business development, added, "This marks a significant step in our content development strategy for the Western market. By leveraging our combined strengths, we'll bring this debut title to a global audience."

Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, a nine-year CD Projekt Red writing veteran, confirmed that Dawnwalker will be a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, boasting a non-linear storyline.

Tomaszkiewicz previously stated, "Our goal is to deliver an experience that offers diverse choices and encourages experimentation on replays. Collaborating with such talented individuals to craft this experience is my mission at Rebel Wolves, and I can't wait for everyone to see the team's work."
