WoW Unveils Timewalking Event Schedule for Turbulent Timeways

World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions. Prepare for a deluge of Timewarped Badges, powerful experience boosts, and exciting new rewards! Complete five out of the seven weeks to earn the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and unlock the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

This event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. Players once again have the opportunity to earn the stackable Mastery of Timeways buff, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

The Timewalking Tour:

The seven-week journey through time begins with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concludes with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. Each week features a different expansion's Timewalking content, including quests, dungeons, and raids.

World of Warcraft Turbulent Timeways Event Schedule:

  • January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
  • January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
  • January 21-27: Legion
  • January 28-February 3: Classic
  • February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
  • February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
  • February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards Galore:

Timewalking vendors in each expansion boast new permanent items, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. This event also provides a second chance to obtain the Sandy Shalewing pet for those who missed it last time. Furthermore, completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest rewards a Cache of Nerubian Treasures containing Heroic-level gear throughout the Turbulent Timeways event.

A Busy Start to 2025:

Following the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11-week Timewalking marathon, this adds another seven weeks, resulting in an unprecedented 18 weeks of continuous Timewalking. The Turbulent Timeways' February 24th conclusion also hints at Blizzard's plans. Considering the usual eight-week release cycle and the holiday season, February 25th is the likely launch date for World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, Undermined, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. With Plunderstorm's second run and The War Within's first major content update following shortly after, World of Warcraft is setting the stage for an action-packed start to 2025.
