Phase 10 Rules:

A phase is a combination of cards, typically sets (same value), runs (consecutive ascending order), cards of a single color, or a mix thereof. There are ten phases to complete:

The game begins by dealing each player 10 cards face down. Players keep their cards hidden from others.

Phase Completion:

• Phases must be completed sequentially, from 1 to 10.
• A complete phase must be in hand before being laid down.
• You can lay down more cards than the minimum requirement, as long as they directly extend an existing phase.
• Only one phase can be completed per turn.
• Failure to complete a phase requires attempting the same phase on the next turn.
• Credit for a completed phase is awarded upon laying it down, regardless of winning the round.

Players are not obligated to lay down a completed phase; however, a card must still be discarded at the end of each turn.

Ending a Round:

After completing and laying down a phase, discard your remaining cards. Remember: always draw one card at the start and discard one at the end of your turn.

Scoring:

Once a player completes their phase and discards their last card, the round ends. Points are tallied based on the remaining cards in each player's hand:

• 5 points for cards 1-9.
• 10 points for cards 10-12.
• 15 points for a Skip card.
• 25 points for a Wild card.

The lowest score at the end of all phases wins!

Winning the Game:

If a single player completes Phase 10 and discards all their cards, they win. If multiple players complete their phases simultaneously, the player with the lowest total score wins. In the case of a tie, those players replay Phase 10, with the first to complete it and discard all cards declared the victor.
