Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Preorder Bonus
Preordering the digital version or opting for the Day One physical edition comes with an enticing set of in-game digital bonuses. Here's what you'll receive:
57,300 potch
Fortune Orb x1
Prosperity Orb x1
In the game, potch serves as the currency. The Fortune Orb doubles the experience points gained by the holder, while the Prosperity Orb doubles the potch earned from battles. It's worth noting that in the first Suikoden game, the main character cannot equip both orbs simultaneously.
What is Suikoden I & II HD Remaster?
Originally launched in Japan in 1995 for the PlayStation, followed by its sequel in 1998, the Suikoden series gained Western audiences a year later. Each installment challenges players to recruit 108 warriors to build an army and combat the forces of evil.
This remaster maintains the charm of the original pixel art, now optimized for modern widescreen displays. The spell effects have been refined for smoother animations, and character portraits have been redrawn in high definition. Alongside the visual upgrades, players can enjoy quality-of-life improvements such as battle speed adjustments, an auto-battle mode, auto-save functionality, and a conversation log to prevent missing story details. The user interface has also been revamped to streamline tasks like equipment management.
