2 月 7 日より、Blizzard Entertainment はオーストラリアとニュージーランドにおける World of Warcraft のすべてのゲーム内トランザクションの値上げを実施します。 世界的および地域的な市場変動に起因するこの調整は、サブスクリプションやゲーム内購入を含むさまざまなサービスに影響を与えます。
2 月 6 日の時点で定期購読を有効にしているプレーヤーは、最大 6 か月の猶予期間の間、現在の料金を維持します。 WoW の価格調整はこれが初めてではありません。ブリザードはこれまで、経済の変化を反映してさまざまな地域で価格を変更してきました。 ただし、米国の月額購読料は 2004 年以来 14.99 ドルのままです。
値上げにより、月額サブスクリプションは 19.95 オーストラリアドルから 23.95 オーストラリアドルに、23.99 ニュージーランドドルから 26.99 ニュージーランドドルに値上がりします。 年間サブスクリプションもそれぞれ 249.00 オーストラリアドルと 280.68 ニュージーランドドルに増加します。 WoW トークンの価格は 32.00 オーストラリアドル、36.00 ニュージーランドドルです。 キャラクターの変更やアイテムの購入など、その他のサービスでも価格調整が行われます。 新しい価格設定の詳細な内訳は以下に記載されています。
