When Can I Play Baldur's Gate 3 Crossplay?
While Patch 8 doesn't have a firm release date, a stress test in January 2025 will give select players early access to crossplay and other new features. This test helps Larian Studios identify and fix any bugs before the full launch.

Simply register through Larian's Stress Test Registration form. You'll need a Larian Account. The registration process is quick and easy, requiring only basic information, including your preferred platform.
Remember, registration doesn't guarantee selection. Successful applicants will receive an email with further instructions. Selected testers can provide valuable feedback via forms and Discord.
The stress test will also assess the impact on mods, making it beneficial for mod users and developers to participate. Crucially, all players in your group must register to test crossplay together; otherwise, you'll need to wait for the wider release.
