The 2025 Oscar nominations for the 97th Academy Awards have been revealed, with Emilia Pérez leading the charge by securing an impressive 13 nominations—the highest for a non-English language film in the history of the Oscars.

Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang announced the nominations during a live event on January 23, streamed on the Oscars YouTube channel. Jacques Audiard's gripping Spanish crime thriller, Emilia Pérez, garnered nods across numerous categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Lead Actress, with Karla Sofía Gascón earning a nomination in the latter.

Following closely behind, Wicked and The Brutalist each received 10 nominations, while Conclave and A Complete Unknown both secured eight.
