Remedy Entertainment Unveils Development Updates for Upcoming Titles
Remedy Entertainment recently shared progress updates on several anticipated projects, including the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, Control 2, and Codename Condor, as detailed in their latest financial report. These updates offer insights into the development stages and Remedy's overall publishing strategy.

Control 2 Nears Completion
The highly anticipated Control 2 has reached a crucial milestone: production readiness. This signifies a playable build exists, and the development team is now focusing on scaling up production, encompassing rigorous testing, performance optimization, and quality assurance to meet established standards. Additionally, the Control Ultimate Edition, developed in partnership with Apple, is slated for release on Apple silicon Macs later this year.

Codename Condor in Full Swing
Codename Condor, the multiplayer game set within the Control universe, is currently in full production. The team is actively developing multiple maps and game modes, with internal and limited external playtesting underway to gather feedback and refine features. This marks Remedy's debut into live-service gaming, and the game will utilize a "service-based fixed price" model.

Alan Wake 2 and Max Payne Remake Updates
The Alan Wake 2 expansion, Night Springs, has received positive critical and fan reception. The base game has already recouped most of its development and marketing costs. A physical Deluxe Edition will launch on October 22nd, followed by a Collector's Edition in December. Pre-orders are open on the official website.

The Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, a co-production with Rockstar Games, has transitioned from production readiness to full production. The team is focused on creating a complete playable experience, emphasizing unique gameplay features to differentiate the remake.

Remedy's Future with Control and Alan Wake
Remedy's future strategy centers on the Control and Alan Wake franchises. Having acquired full rights to both IPs, they are exploring self-publishing and potential partnerships, with further details expected by year's end. The company emphasizes the growth and expansion of these franchises within the Remedy Connected Universe.

Further announcements regarding these franchises and upcoming game developments are anticipated in the coming months.
