This guide details how to initiate and complete the bonus quest, "The Lion's Crest," available to players who pre-ordered Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Starting the Quest:

Once you've finished the tutorial and gained access to the open world, locate the scribe Gaibl in Troskowitz. He will present you with a riddle and the smithing recipe for Brunswick's polearm. You'll need to gather the necessary materials yourself, then craft the weapon at a blacksmith's forge.

Solving the Riddle and Locating Brunswick's Armor:

The riddle is as follows:

"Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits. Pass through the hall of forest kings, hidden deep from hunters’ gaze, standing tall two guards of stone, behind who yearned for treasure lays. Between then stands a mighty rock, a subtle niche yet deeper still, a place to give one’s heart to God, behold my armour gleaming still."

This leads you to Trosky Castle. Exit through the northern gates and head north, entering the forest. Follow the path, watching the left side for rocky formations with small crevices. Navigate these to discover a cave containing a chapel. Examine the cross near the rock to find the first piece of Brunswick's armor and two treasure maps.

Treasure Map Locations:

• Map 1: Continue west on the road from the chapel to a crossroads. Head north into the woods to find a wolf den; the armor is in a bag near the trees above the den.

• Map 2: Travel to the small outpost at Vidlak Pond. Behind the fisherman's house, locate a large rock formation along the cliffs. A chest containing armor is near a cross atop the rocks.

• Map 3: Fast travel to Zhelejov, leave the tavern, and cross two bridges towards Tachov. After the second bridge, take a small path leading to the river and forest. Follow this path to a hill; examine the large tree at the top to find bones and a bag containing armor.

• Map 4: Travel to the hill between the Nomads’ Camp and Bozhena’s Hut. Look for rocks with a cross; the final piece of Brunswick's armor is there.
