TRAGsoft is teasing gamers with a fresh twist on their popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon, in the form of Coromon: Rogue Planet. Set to release in 2025, this highly anticipated sequel is confirmed for multiple platforms, including Android. While the exact launch date remains under wraps, the official Steam page is live, offering eager fans a sneak peek into what’s ahead.
From the get-go, TRAGsoft has delivered a taste of what’s in store with a captivating trailer. For fans of the original Coromon, the game retains its classic turn-based combat while infusing a roguelike element that keeps each adventure unpredictable. Players will embark on an expansive journey through the Veluan wilderness, exploring over ten diverse biomes that regenerate differently every time you dive in.
One standout feature is the "rescue and recruit" mechanic, allowing players to unlock unique, playable characters by aiding them in the wild. With seven distinct characters, each boasting their own playstyle, the depth of customization is immense. Add to that over 130 monsters, each with varying elemental affinities, personalities, and abilities, and the potential for strategy and creativity is endless.
The game also introduces a meta-progression system, enabling players to continually upgrade their gear and strengthen their roster. Additionally, players will collaborate with others to uncover mysteries surrounding an interstellar spaceship, adding a cooperative layer to the experience.
