CrazyGames is set to launch its Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 this week, running from April 25th to May 5th. This exciting 10-day event is in partnership with Photon, the leading multiplayer service provider, and is an open invitation to indie developers worldwide. The jam is focused on creating innovative web-based multiplayer games, with participants competing for a share of €10,000 in cash prizes and premium Photon licenses.
The prizes include:
- 500 CCU with Circle Starter for a year (€7,500 value)
- 500 CCU for a year (€1,500 value)
- 100 CCU for a year (€100 value)
The only strict requirements for participants are that games must be developed and submitted during the jam period and must adhere to PEGI 12 rating standards. Beyond these guidelines, developers are encouraged to unleash their creativity and innovation.

Since its launch in 2014, CrazyGames has become the premier platform for free online gaming, utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, and WebGL technologies to provide seamless browser-based gaming experiences for thousands of titles. In collaboration with Photon, CrazyGames will support the event and offer winners the chance to publish their games on its platform.
A pre-jam livestream is scheduled for April 24th at 4 pm CEST on YouTube and LinkedIn. This session will provide insights into two new WebGL platforms, Fusion and Quantum. Mark Val, Head of Growth at Photon Engine, highlighted the potential of these platforms, stating, "Photon has supported multiplayer WebGL for over a decade, and our new Fusion and Quantum samples let you create high-performant multiplayer games easily. We believe a WebGL game will be in the top 20 of the world's most visited websites in the coming year, and the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is a good opportunity for everyone to innovate on the platform."
Registration for the Crazy Web Multiplayer Jam 2025 is free and open to game developers of all experience levels. For more details and to sign up, visit the official jam page.
