Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial way to fully restore health without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early in the game, securing your own bed is vital. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, you'll have the option to follow either the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl) questlines. Both will eventually provide you with a bed. Radovan, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient choice for many players. Complete his smithing tutorial, and you'll gain access to a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your world map as your personal sleeping spot. A nearby chest offers convenient storage for your belongings. Return here whenever you need to heal.
Utilizing Campsites
Inevitably, situations may arise where reaching your bed isn't feasible. Fortunately, numerous campsites are scattered throughout the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 landscape, located along roads and in forests. Some may be occupied by bandits; deal with them first to utilize the campsite's facilities. Empty campsites are also available.
These campsites are indicated on your map. Interact with the bedrolls to sleep. While comfort is lower than a proper bed, it effectively restores health.
Sleeping in NPC Beds (Use with Caution!)
As a last resort, you can attempt to sleep in an NPC's bed. However, be warned: getting caught will likely result in a report to the guards unless you can successfully talk your way out of trouble.
