Monster Hunter Wilds has surpassed eight million units sold in just three days, becoming the fastest Capcom title to ever reach this milestone.
According to Capcom's official reports, Monster Hunter Wilds has achieved an unprecedented launch performance – significantly outpacing Monster Hunter World's five million copies shipped in 2018 and Monster Hunter Rise's four million in 2021.

These record-breaking numbers were anticipated after Monster Hunter Wilds surpassed one million concurrent Steam players during its launch weekend, dethroning Cyberpunk 2077 as the platform's 7th most-played game of all time. The title also helped Steam achieve its first-ever 40 million concurrent player milestone.
