Dragonkin: The Banished Demo Launches, Major Updates Planned

Eko Software and NACON have exciting news for RPG enthusiasts with the launch of a demo for their new action-packed RPG, *Dragonkin: The Banished*. This demo is now available as part of Steam Next Fest and will be accessible until March 3, 2025. The early access version, set to launch on March 6, 2025, will include the prologue and the first chapter. Players can immerse themselves in the game's rich narrative through three unique heroes: the Knight, the Oracle, and the Barbarian. In addition to these heroes, the game introduces four Vermplings—cooperative companions that join players in battle. Key features of the early access include the innovative Bloodline Grid skill progression system, endgame hunting quests, and initial enhancements for the central hub city.

The development team has shared an ambitious roadmap for *Dragonkin: The Banished*. Spring updates will bring new abilities, enhanced endgame content, a new endgame activity, and improved features for the hub city. As summer arrives, players can expect the introduction of a new hero, additional skills, and expanded endgame challenges. By autumn, the game will roll out multiplayer support, along with ongoing refinements to the Bloodline Grid and hub city mechanics.

In *Dragonkin: The Banished*, players embark on an epic journey through a world corrupted by ancient dragon blood. Their mission is to guide a legendary warrior in the battle against sinister creatures rising from the earth and the powerful Dragonlords behind the chaos. Progression in the game is driven by character growth, equipment upgrades, and the evolution of Vermplings. The strategic Bloodline Grid system allows players to tailor their abilities, adding depth to the gameplay experience.

The full release of *Dragonkin: The Banished* is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S following its initial launch in Steam Early Access on March 6, 2025.
