During the new Escape from Tarkov wipe developers will show New Year special

Escape from Tarkov's highly anticipated wipe, originally slated for before the New Year, is officially confirmed! The update, driven by a simplified Kappa container quest, will launch on December 26th at 7:00 AM GMT / 2:00 AM EST. Following scheduled maintenance (estimated 8 hours), the game will update to version 0.16.0.0, with Tarkov Arena simultaneously updating to 0.2.5.0.

To keep players engaged during the downtime, Battlestate Games will host a New Year's Special Twitch stream at 4:00 PM GMT / 11:00 AM EST. While details remain under wraps, expect exciting new content announcements.

Version 0.16.0.0 confirms the full game release remains on the horizon, likely pushing into 2025. However, significant updates are expected:
