Genshin Impact's Version 4.8, "Summertide Scales and Tales," launches July 17th, bringing a wave of summer fun. This update introduces Simulanka, a new summer-themed map filled with origami creatures and clockwork mechanisms. Players will team up with Kirara, Nilou, Navia, and the Wanderer to solve mysteries and overcome challenges in this enchanting location.
Version 4.8 also features Emilie, a new five-star Dendro polearm-wielding character who excels against Burning enemies. Her arrival coincides with Yelan's rerun in the latter half of the event wishes, preceded by Navia and Nilou reruns. Both Nilou and Kirara receive summer-themed outfits; Kirara's is obtainable through event participation, while Nilou's will be available at a limited-time discount.
The Simulanka map offers various seasonal events and mini-games, including Boreal Flurry (balloon shooting), Flying Hatter's Trick (claw machine game), and Metropole Trials (team-based combat challenges). These activities reward players with Starsail Coins, redeemable for decorative figurines for "Good Shelves" within Simulanka. These shelves can even be added as furnishings to your Serenitea Pot.
